"Dumpling" is a delicious, bite-sized food that's made of savory ingredients wrapped in dough and cooked. Chinese dumplings can be steamed, boiled or fried. These vegetarian dumplings are so easy to make! and most dumpling wrappers are vegan so this recipe is actually vegan dumpling too! They pack a lot of flavor and are perfect for your next get together with family and friends! so lets enjoy them....
Ingredients:-
Dough:-
- 3 cups all purpose baking flour
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 cup water
Filling:-
- 1 cup mushrooms
- 2 grated carrots
- 1 onion
- 1 thumb size cube of ginger
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 green cabbage
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp can sugar
Procedure:-
- Prepare the dough & let it sit for one hour.
- Clean & chop all vegetables
- Saute onion/ garlic/ ginger in water for 5 minutes
- Add mushrooms, carrots, cabbage & cook for 10 minutes
- once vegetables are cooked add sugar & soy sauce
- Divide dough into small cubes and roll out into thin circles
- Add filling into dough & wrap any way you want
- steam for about 15 minutes
- Your dumplings are ready enjoy them!
