Garlic Bread

"Garlic Bread" is a classic side dish and perfect with everything. I used to buy garlic bread at the store until i realized how quick, easy and tasty is to make it at home. Lets try this at home by following this simple recipe.

Ingredients:-

For Garlic Bread Dough

  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 3/4 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup plain flour/ maida/ all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp oil
For Garlic Butter
  • 1/4 cup malted butter
  • 3 cloves finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
Other Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp plain flour/ maida/ all purpose flour to dust
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese/ any cheese of choice
  • 2 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
Procedure:-
Garlic Dough Recipe:-
  • Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take warm milk, dry yeast and sugar. Mix well.
  • Rest for 5 minutes.
  • Furthermore, add pinch of salt, garlic and oregano.
  • Additionally add butter and maida. Start to knead the dough. 
  • Further, coat the dough with oil and rest for 2 hours.
Garlic Bread Recipe:-
  • Further punch the dough.
  • In a small bowl mix in butter, garlic and coriander leaves.
  • Spread the prepared garlic butter over the dough generously.
  • Further top with mozzarella cheese on half of the dough.
  • Also season with chili flakes and oregano.
  • Fold the dough and seal the edges.
  • Furthermore, brush generous amount of prepared garlic butter.
  • Also top with chili flakes and mixed herbs.
  • Make marks over bread without cutting them fully.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 15 minutes.
  • cut the garlic bread into pieces and serve.
