Ingredients:-
- 2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- Oil for deep fry
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp refined flour (maida)
- 1 1/2 inch ginger piece, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp crushed black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- A pinch of baking soda
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
Procedure:-
- Heat oil in a Pan.
- Mix cheese, breadcrumbs, cornflour, refined flour, ginger, crushed black pepper, salt, lemon juice, baking soda, green chillies, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder and coriander leaves and mix well. Add a little water and mix into a dough.
- Grease your palms, take small portions of the dough and shape into marble sized round balls.
- Slide the balls, a few at a time, into the hot oil and deep fry on a medium heat, stirring gently, till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve Hot.
