Chocolate Pudding

Chocolate Puddings are a class of desserts with chocolate flavors. There are two types a Boiled then chilled dessert, texturally a custard set with Starch, commonly eaten in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Sweden, Poland, and East and South East Asia and a streamed/backed version, Texturally similar to cake. 

Ingredients:- 

  • 60 gm Dark Chocolates 
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 3 tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Procedure:- 
  • Finely chop dark chocolate and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder and salt. Gradually add milk, whisking, until incorporate and smooth.
  •  Place the saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly until thickens. Add heavy cream, chopped chocolate and whisk until melted  and combined. Turn the heat off and add vanilla  extract.
  • Transfer to serving dishes. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate.
  • Can be served warm or cold.
