Chocolate Puddings are a class of desserts with chocolate flavors. There are two types a Boiled then chilled dessert, texturally a custard set with Starch, commonly eaten in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Sweden, Poland, and East and South East Asia and a streamed/backed version, Texturally similar to cake.
Ingredients:-
- 60 gm Dark Chocolates
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 1/4 Cup Heavy Cream
- 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 3 tbsp Corn Starch
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Procedure:-
- Finely chop dark chocolate and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder and salt. Gradually add milk, whisking, until incorporate and smooth.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly until thickens. Add heavy cream, chopped chocolate and whisk until melted and combined. Turn the heat off and add vanilla extract.
- Transfer to serving dishes. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate.
- Can be served warm or cold.
