4 Types Of Modak

Today on  festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, we will going to make a very tasty and the favorite dessert of Lord Ganesha called Modak. It is an popular in state of Maharashtra, Goa and in all other regions of India. 21 pieces of Modak were served in the prayer of  lord ganesha. 

Ingredients:-

  • 1/4 cup- Milk
  • 1 cup- Milk Powder
  • 1/4 cup- Ghee
  • 1/2 cup- Sugar Powder
  • Cardamom Powder
  • Rooh Afza 
  • Rose petal jam
  • Coca Powder

Procedure:-

  • In a pan, put Milk and add Milk Powder to it gradually.
  •  Mix it well then put Ghee, Powdered Sugar and keep the Pan on the the flame.
  • Cook it on slow flame and continuously stir it.
  • Then keep the mixture for cooling down. 
  • After some time,divide the dough into 4 parts.

For Milk Modak, Put Cardamom powder  in one part of the dough and make Modak with Modak Mould. 

For Kesar Pista Modak, add Saffron milk in the the dough and make modak by filling chopped Pistachios in the center of the Modak

For Chocolate Modak, in a bowl, put cocoa powder and milk and put it in the dough. Mix it well and make Chocolate Modak.

You can make Modak without Mould .
